From the stone you choose to the piece you wear
Evergleam brings together individual gemstones, thoughtful design and experienced specialist craftsmanship. You know what is happening, who is working on your piece and what to expect before it leaves our studio.
Choose the gemstone that begins your story
Start with a hand-cut loose gemstone or a studio-selected stone. Each listing identifies the stone, dimensions and relevant treatment information, and explains whether it was cut by Ma Ling or by a trusted Wuzhou lapidary and personally selected by her.
Confirm the details with a real person
After your order, we email to confirm ring size, metal color, 10K or 14K gold and the chosen design. Production begins only after the important details are clear, so there is a written record for both you and the studio.
Design around the individual stone
Ma Ling considers the gemstone’s proportions, color and character, then prepares the design direction for the Guangzhou setting team. For a custom order, this is where stone placement, setting style and practical proportions are resolved.
Craft, set and hand-finish the piece
Experienced jewelry specialists in Guangzhou prepare the metalwork, set the gemstone, refine the edges and polish the finish. Typical custom production takes about 2–3 weeks after all details are confirmed.
Check the setting, finish and requested size
The finished piece is reviewed for stone security, smoothness, finish, proportions and the requested size. If something does not meet the agreed design, it returns to the workshop before you are asked to approve dispatch.
See the real finished piece before it ships
We email final photographs or a short video so you can see the actual jewelry rather than only a concept image. During production, you also receive milestone updates; for longer stages, we aim to check in every 3–4 days.
Pack carefully and send with tracking
Your jewelry is protected in Evergleam packaging and dispatched with tracking. International transit is approximately 10 days; customs processing can add time, and any import duties or taxes are the buyer’s responsibility unless checkout states otherwise.

Who works on your jewelry?
Gemstone selection
Ma Ling personally selects stones in Wuzhou and Guangzhou for color, character and how they respond to light.
Gemstone cutting
Some stones are cut by Ma Ling; others are cut by trusted, experienced lapidaries in Wuzhou and then selected by her. The product page will state which applies.
Jewelry setting
An experienced specialist team in Guangzhou prepares the metalwork, sets the gemstone and completes the hand finishing.
Final review
Ma Ling reviews the finished piece, records its appearance and communicates with you before it is packed and dispatched.
Exact stone, changing light
Gemstones can appear different in daylight, indoor light and on different screens. Whenever possible, we show the exact stone in more than one lighting condition so you can understand its character before ordering.
Concept image disclosure
A render or design image is a guide, not a photograph of the final piece. The finished jewelry is made to follow the approved design closely, with subtle variations from hand finishing and the individual gemstone.
Sizing before production
Please confirm your ring size carefully before work begins. Eligible resizing workmanship can be complimentary, but an international return is inconvenient and shipping costs follow our Returns & Refunds Policy.
WRAPPED WITH CARE
Documented before dispatch
Your finished piece is photographed or filmed, carefully protected and packed for international delivery. We then email the tracking number so you can follow the parcel.
Packaging details may vary. Botanical styling shown in photography is decorative and may not be included in international parcels.

Making & delivery questions
How long does a custom piece take?
Typical custom production takes about 2–3 weeks after the design details, ring size, metal color and 10K or 14K gold choice are confirmed. International transit is approximately 10 days, although customs and carrier delays can add time.
Will I receive progress updates?
Yes. You receive an order confirmation and updates at key milestones. During longer production stages, we aim to check in every 3–4 days, followed by final photos or a short video and a tracking email after dispatch.
Will the finished piece match the design image?
We follow the confirmed design closely. A concept image is not a final product photograph, and subtle differences can result from hand finishing, proportions and the way an individual gemstone reflects light.
What happens before the order ships?
We check the setting, stone security, finish, requested size and the overall appearance. We then share final images, pack the jewelry securely and send the tracking number.
Are import duties included?
Import duties, taxes and customs charges are generally the buyer’s responsibility unless checkout explicitly states otherwise. Please review the Shipping Policy and your local import rules before ordering.
